Eligibility

The Lash Live Competition is only open to qualified and therefore certified Lash Artists. You must email a copy of your certificate after you have purchased your ticket so we can allocate you to the correct entry level: Beginner (Under 1 years) or Expert (Over 1 years)

Models

-All models must be at least 16 years of age.

-Competitors are responsible for ensuring that their model is suitable for treatment – for example, no contraindications.

-All work performed on any model must be safe and clean

Judging

To make things fair, organisers structure the evaluation process to be conducted 'blindly.' Judges are strictly prohibited from knowing the identity of the Lash Artist, and all lash artists will leave their models in the main room before the judging commences.

Each judge has the authority to allocate a score ranging from 0 to 10 points for each judging element, such as stickies, distance of placement from the eyelid, direction, etc.

A perfect score of 10 points for each element represents the highest achievable rating, with a maximum total of 100 points for each entry. Judges have the flexibility to award half points, such as 9.5, if deemed appropriate.

Feedback from judges is provided to assist competitors in comprehending their scores and identifying areas for improvement, which can be taken home on the scorecard.

It's important to note that judges assess how well your work complements your model, rather than the attractiveness of the model. Hence, selecting a model that effectively showcases your work is prudent, irrespective of their overall attractiveness.

The decisions made by judges are considered final, and there will be no room for debate regarding the judging outcomes.
